Dub Trio/9-24-07

Dub Trio tore through Vancouver last September 24 and dropped a surgical face-removal/clinic laden with several new tracks from their latest album, Another Sound Is Dying. Don't miss this one!

Secret Chiefs 3

Secret Chiefs 3 aren't your typical 'rock band'. Fusing elements of Sufism, exotic instruments, Ennio Morricone-esque soundscapes, death metal/grindcore and surf, it's hard to tell whether SC3 are channeling the music of the spheres or preparing your soul for the pit.

Removal

Removal, a Vancouver-based 3-piece hard rock band with multimedia slideshow/triggered samples, live at the Plaza, August 23/2007. These were shot with the Canon XL2, Sony PDX10, and the Panasonic DVX100, and cut with Pinnacle Studio 11. We also shot and directed a video for their song "4" in 2005, which is included in the media player below:

CLUTCH

We've been shooting CLUTCH since 2004, when we showed up in Seattle with a single video camera and cranked out a live video for "Worm Drink", which was posted to their site shortly after. Since then, we've done 3, 5, 7, and 10-camera shoots all across North America. Check out the videos and you'll see why we're so obsessed with 'em. Clutch rocks. 'Nuff said.

RRCTV

In 2002-03, we hooked up with Rock and Roll Confidential to create RRCTV, a reality show about local bands. Due to RRC's already established massive audience, these episodes were an instant hit and were seen by hundreds of thousands of billions of people all over the world. They're cynical, dark, and funny as hell. They were all shot with the Sony TRV11 and edited in Studio 8: our very first venture in video.

Bakerton Group

Bakerton Group is a side project featuring the members of Clutch. We shot this one in Kill Devil Hills, NC, August 21/2004, with a Sony PDX10 and TRV11, using only camera mics. This song, "Funky Navajo", can be found on the band's self-titled 2007 release, and is featured at the band's MySpace page.

Pacheena Bay, BC

This is a little montage from the West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island, BC, shot with a Sony PDX10 and quickly edited with Pinnacle Studio 11.

Music: "The Interworld and the New Innocence" by Praxis.

Skagit Valley Tulip Festival 2007

Scenes from the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival in Washington state, April 2007. Shot with a Sony PDX10.

Music: "Nightsight" by Air.
